Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the members of the Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, I would like to express my gratitude to those who have helped us establish thoracic and cardiovascular surgery in Korea.
Our field has grown by leaps and bounds during the last half century-growth that would not have been so great without the support from our friends at home and abroad.
We are committed to earnestly working towards improvements in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery with the cooperation of
our society members and of those whom they seek to serve.
There has recently been some astonishing progress in the treatment of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery.
Morbid conditions that were untreatable in the past have succumbed to new techniques, and those requiring extensive surgical procedures can now be treated with less invasive surgery.
In order to share the information on these new techniques and procedures, we have to use this homepage.
I sincerely hope that this homepage will help to build a better trust relationship and a better understanding between our colleagues.
May we all put our strength together to return patients to health & well-being.
